Tryouts for Fall 2026 – Spring 2027

Important, so please read:

• Players born between Aug 1, 2011 and Dec 31, 2017 are eligible to tryout for a FC South Bay team
• Players who’ve played at least 1 year on a team which had tryouts are permitted to tryout a maximum of 2 years up (see dates in the matrix). Pre-Academy does NOT count as travel. Players born 1/1/18-12/31/18 can only tryout for their own age group.
• Players must attend at least one tryout to be considered for a team
  • To increase your chances of being selected for a team, it is recommended to attend both sessions and tryout for multiple teams
• Show up early to verify your attendance (all players need to get a tryout number assigned to them and check-in).
• Registration is required a minimum of 24 hours before the tryout time so that the coach can print out the check-in roster
• To tryout for a team, click the register button. Once you’ve submitted your registration, you will not be able to change that registration, so make sure you select all teams your child wants to tryout for.

• Make a good first impression:
  • Do not wear your existing travel jersey or shorts to tryouts
  • Wear cleats & shin guards (entirely covered by socks)
  • Bring a size 4 ball for U9-U12 teams or size 5 ball for U13 & older teams (write your name on it)
  • Bring plenty of water in a bottle that’s clearly marked with your name
• Rainouts are announced at the field (unless noted on this page)
