24th Annual D.C. Raymond M. Downey “Forever Running” Memorial 5K Run/Walk
The Downey Family is once again honored and excited to host our annual event in memory of our hero—our Dad—and in tribute to all the first responders and civilians who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
Join us Sunday, June 15, 2025, for a day of remembrance, community, and celebration. This year’s race brings some exciting updates:
- A new race shirt color
- BBQ and ice-cold beer to enjoy post-race
- Our fast and flat course, perfect for hitting a personal best!
Over the past 24 years, with your incredible support, we’ve raised over $1.5 million, continuing to give back to the Deer Park Community and the many fire department organizations our Dad was passionate about.
We are so grateful for your past donations—it’s your support that has made this run such a success. We look forward to another memorable year and an unforgettable day.
THANK YOU – “WE WILL NEVER FORGET”
