FC South Bay represents the next generation of soccer, providing players the opportunity to compete in EDP (Elite Development Program) under the guidance of professional coaches such as our very own Glenn, Vince, Sean, and other professional staff coaches, such as Will and Gerald.

A competitive program for dedicated players who want to play in the EDP league.

We request our games to be played on Sundays for U9-U13 teams (as LIJSL games are played on Saturdays), and on Saturdays for U14 and older teams (as LIJSL’s games are played on Sundays). We schedule our home games, and the opponent schedules our away games. It’s up to the opponent whether or not they can honor our request to play on our requested day when they schedule our away games.

The program fee for all age groups will be $1,825 per player, which includes:

  • Professional Training – Approximately 90 sessions per year
    • Year-round training led by a professional trainer/staff coach (indoor & outdoor)
    • Approximately 2 practices plus matches during the Fall & Spring seasons
    • Training opportunities throughout Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer
    • Practice field Fall, Spring, and Summer
    • Indoor practice during Winter
    • Access to lighted field training sessions when needed
    • Keeper training
  • EDP Team Participation (Fall & Spring Seasons)
    • Includes full team entry into league for both seasons, including:
  • Team Communication & Scheduling Tools
    • Team management and communication platforms such as GotSport / TeamSnap for schedules, messaging, and team updates
  • Tournament Participation
    • Entry for an outdoor destination tournament (example: Delco), 
    • Coaching for outdoor desitnation tournament, including trainer expenses such as travel, hotel accommodations, and meal allowance
    • Entry into a local tournament hosted by West Islip Soccer
    • Professional staff coach presence and support at tournaments
    • Entry into West Islip indoor tournament

    • Players who are selected for an FC South Bay team will also have the option to register for a West Islip travel team for just $250 per year, provided there is available roster space. This option includes one additional scheduled training session with the West Islip travel team and participation in a weekly LIJSL league game.  Note: the team maybe collecting dues for different events, so please work that out with the coach of the West Islip travel team.
    • U9 Players:
      • If you are selected for a West Islip U9 travel team, you can signup for extra soccer that includes a weekly practice and a separate sign up for a weekly EDP game during the Fall & Spring season for just $250 (there maybe additional cuts).
